Got to attend the World Premiere of “Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie”. First and foremost, this is such a surreal thing to have grown up for years watching AVGN, being an extra on the set, and actually seeing the film on the big screen (I even have two medium close ups in the cut!!). The biggest thing I got out of the film was that to James Rolfe and Kevin Finn, it wasn’t just a movie. It was a love letter. To the fans, to the people that fell in love with them and what they did. But more importantly, the movie is a movie. It finds the balance between making references to the series, and still telling a legitimate story. That was the film’s greatest accomplishment. More than that, it made me realize more than anything that Rolfe and Finn have what it takes to be great filmmakers. If this is what they can do on a show string budget for a first feature, I would love to see what they make in the future. So, Mr. Rolfe and Mr. Finn, thank you for the nostalgia, taking us back to the past, and letting us know what gaming really means to all of us. #avgn #cinemassacre

For the AVGN 10th Anniversary celebration, James and Mike torture themselves with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on NES once again! But this time, we’ve invited some guests to try the game too! Guests include: Spoony, AlphaOmegaSin, The Game Chasers, Shane Luis, Ryan Schott, 8-Bit Eric, Grimsie42 and Bad Luck Bootsy! Since we’ve played this game many times before in other videos, this time we are jumping right to the infamous barrel stage!

Or in short. This is the nerd version of “The Expendables”. CxC

Anonymous said: Do you make gifs of James and Mike Mondays? If so can I request James and Mike dancing in the Star Wars Kinect (xbox 360) video?

Well, usually I only gif AVGN stuff. But this is just too hilarious to pass up:

A Huge Congratulations to James Rolfe on The 10 Year Anniversary of The Angry Video Game Nerd. I’ve been inspired by James since I’ve became a fan in 2009. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be so passionate to film and filmmaking in general. Way to go, James!
